From EDUCA Business Association (Asociación de Empresas EDUCA), we always support projects related to circular economy. This time, we are collaborating with the European project Circular Labs “Entrepreneurial spirit for the circular economy in the Iberian Peninsula”, which the Agency for Innovation and Economic Development of Valladolid City Council and the Castile and León Natural Heritage Foundation, alongside nine Spanish and Portuguese partners are working on.

We’re all going through times of widespread uncertainty. The COVID-19 pandemic has made us look at the world from a new perspective that advocates for environmental, social and economic sustainability. For this reason, it’s important to support initiatives that strive for a more sustainable world.

This project, which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the POCTEP program, aims to integrate circular economy in new business models, setting up a place for creativity, new ideas and adaptation to change in order to build a “circular model” by using the resources.

A total of eleven institutions from Spain and Portugal are developing different digital tools since July 9, 2020 (date of the project kick-off meeting). For instance, they’re working on a self-assessment tool to assist companies throughout the transformation process into that model.

From EDUCA Business Association, we would like to encourage you to cooperate in this project by filling the following questionnaire, which is intended to know people’s take on different topics related to the circular economy. The information you provide will help us identify needs that could contribute to developing new mobility plans and material and resource management patterns that are more sustainable. The deadline to fill it is Friday, September 11.
