To kick off a new month, we would like to discuss how the circular economy continues to be a key issue in the Association through two new projects.

EDUCA Business Association keeps supporting the circular economy through a pioneering project that was developed last year named “Circular economy: a reality in Valladolid” (“Economía Circular, una realidad en Valladolid”), and creating two new projects: “Collaborative Circular Economy Platform” (“Plataforma colaborativa en Economía Circular”) and “Circular Company” Certificate (Sello “Empresa Circular”).

Through these new projects, which are supported by the Agency for Innovation of Valladolid City Council, the Association wants to achieve an optimal resource and waste use by minimizing the insertion of new materials in the production process.

These projects will drive cooperation among companies opting for some or all circular economy processes through an exchange system for resources and raw materials. Protocols and procedures required to get a certification in this field will also be provided to interested SMEs and freelancers by establishing good practices and/or carrying out a protocol or assimilating “circular” procedures. Besides, training workshops and informative day-sessions on this matter will be conducted.

If you’re interested in the circular economy, just contact us!

Since both projects are further efforts from EDUCA Business Association to assist local companies in improving their production process and the implementation of efficient management models, this kind of initiatives are always open to all businesses and entrepreneurs in Valladolid who are interested in the circular economy.

Jorge Gutiérrez, the association’s president, claims that Valladolid’s industrial network will become stronger, generate wider wealth and create more employment as a result of a circular economy.
