On Thursday, May 9th, the Agency for Innovation and Development will hold a new working meeting where 2017’s circular economy building projects will be discussed.

EDUCA Business Association will introduce in this event its project “Circular economy: a reality in Valladolid” (originally named in Spanish “Economía Circular: una Realidad en Valladolid”), which was developed two years ago, and will talk also about two new projects they are working on.

Some public authorities will take part in this event: Antonio Gato Casado, the Municipal Councillor for Finance and Economic Promotion of Valladolid City Council, will open the gala.

Rosa Huertas González, Head of the Finance and Economic Promotion Department of Valladolid City Council, will also attend the event and will take stock of the current situation of the circular economy.

One of the most important points covered in this working meeting is the lecture “The Circular Economy Development Strategy of Paris” (originally named in Spanish “La Estrategia de Desarrollo de la Economía Circular en París”) since it will be delivered by Anita Ravlic, Coordinator of the Circular Economy Strategy at the Urban Ecology Agency of Paris City Council. Through this talk, we will be able to know how is the current situation of the circular economy outside Spain.

It will be a day-session full of different information about the circular economy, which is a very important matter in Valladolid currently given that it’s considered a ground-breaking city in terms of circular economy.
